NUKU puppetry museum invites all of you to discover the enthralling theatre world through puppetry and visual theatre. The new main exhibition starts from the very beginning which means you can tocuh air and see what happens to water, fire and earth at the puppet theatre.
Five puppet types are introduced in their own rooms with their own stage. Try out one of the trickiest puppets - the marionette or learn about the differences between glove and rod puppets. How can you become part of a puppet can be seen and tried on with body puppets. What's it like to move one puppet with three people?
The exhibition also introduces many theatre jobs such as the designer, prop maker, stage hand, make-up artist, actor and director. One tiny room under the ground hides a beautiful mini-exhibition of Rosita Raud's Tiny Worlds.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm, with last entrance to the museum at 5pm.
